Found on an electrical safety test (EICR) today in Wilmington. Basic insulation (the brown, blue and green/yellow wires) should not be visible and should be contained within the outlet plate. This would identify either poor workmanship from a previous electrician or some DIY from the owner/tenant when installing their new cooker.
It is important to make sure your electrician is suitably qualified and insured to carry out the works at your home or business.
